Its the same old shit. Lets be honest, we were shit against lowly placed Switzerland even though we won 3-0. We were good in the first half against France but absolute shit in the second. We weren't that much better against Croatia. And then we come up against a team of class and quality and we get whipped, literally. That was a lesson last night, a lesson that England are just an average team with an average bunch of players. We lost. No excuses. We deserved to lose.

*NOTE* I never actually had much hope for England before the tournament began, I'm not jumping on the 'slag off England bandwagon now we're out'. We should have gone through the group stages anyway, that to me was not an achievement. Some people made out that was some massive occasion.

the fact remains if england pulled it off in the last min i bet the fuckin majority would be singing there praises saying what determination it took to do that. the fact that the goal was good and disallowed showed you they could pull it out of the bag when playing shit. IF portugal were so fuckin amazing why did it go to penalities then?

the fact is we were poor overall in the championship so didn't deserve to do well. Sometimes you get what you don't deserve and sometimes you reap what you sow...

 

i.e. Germany were tripe at the last World Cup but still got to the final. Lucky them.

Scream you massive cock. When we beat Switzerland, I said then that the score flattered us. The fact of the matter is we are not good enough. France are good enough, they rode their luck and got 7 points out of 9 and they aint even playing well, what does that say? I would've probably said the same had we have won because we were utter shite last night, Portugal pissed and shat all over us and then right at the end they wiped their crack on us. You ask if Portugal were that good why did it go to penalties, well surely you could be asking the same question of England? Foolish boy.
