Fast Car (White) Roger Sanchez- Another Chance Lee-Cabrera- Shake it (Move a little closer) Junior Jack- E-Samba If you lived nearer Aaron you could have borrowed my funky records- not loads, but around 100 or so... Cheers Russ, I think we have similar tastes of the funky stuff, as I got most of those aswell I think i only had about 60 odd funky and prog house tunes to start with as the only funky sets i've done to this date are hour long warm ups. I put most of my energy (& money) into Trancers. Hopefully if the crowd are up for it i'll be able to progress the night into some classic trance numbers aswell. Got a good feeling about this one tho, should be a right laugh! Edited June 26, 2004 by Aaron

CTW Members russelldust Posted June 29, 2004 CTW Members Share Posted June 29, 2004 Layo & Bushwacka- Love Story vs Finally (Tim Deluxe) is a cream your pants hands in the air floor riller of a track. How was the party Aaron?
CTW Members Aaron Posted June 29, 2004 Author CTW Members Share Posted June 29, 2004 (edited) Love story is indeed a cracker of a track, although on sunday i played the other love story bootleg. Planet Funk - Chase the Sun one. The party was quite good thanks, not as busy as i'd have hoped though. A few hairy moments, and some extremely long outros/intros because I forgot how lengthy the intros was on a couple of tracks, given that i only got a many of them a day before. So that gave me a few bewildered looks from the floor , but luckily nothing catastrophic. Did manage to progress into half an hour of trance at the end which was good, and seeing as I was playing quite a few classic house numbers, i thought it was only fitting to end it on a classic trancer... 7 Cities Edited June 29, 2004 by Aaron

The 'I Know You Got Soul' remix is a lot more driving - a bit like 'Down And Dirty' by Richard F (also a superb track!) Soulsearcher - Feelin' Love Pt1 There are shed loads more I could (and should) name, but if you want a crowd to go spastic, drop this. This track STILL get's one of the best responses when played. Everyone I know that plays house has this in their box (or CD wallet) at all times. Quality.
