Guest
My own personal account is as [censored] as they come, just a debit card. But my business account is just stupid (£10,000 limit) has been so tempting to go silly with it but i have managed to restrain myself. It has been handy to use it for building up my studio (twice) tho.
CTW Admin James Posted August 14, 2003 Author CTW Admin Share Posted August 14, 2003 well i've been living off my credit cards for the last few years - often using them when i'd run out of cash in the last 1 or 2 weeks before getting paid to go on weekends etc.. now i've just gotta be sensible and put my foot down to all these offers of going out - so its once or twice a month max for me now guys - hence why i missed ireland/edinburgh this year. looking at it long term though it will be good as one day i'll be like paula and be able to spend all my money again! Guest
I owe very little to anybody as that is the only way i could be. I would hate to earn a good bit of money at the end of the month, only to hand it all over to credit card bills and banks. My money is my own (pretty much) But i can see how easy it is for people to get into debt these days. When i got my house broke into and had to spend loads of cash buying all my studio gear again, it would have been so easy for me to have still come over to Wildchild, Edinburgh, etc and put it all on the card but i had to prioritise. Well done you, smart bloke!
CTW Members Phil rr Posted August 14, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted August 14, 2003 but it's just that...a cred limit. u don't have to go out n spend it. i've got a limit of about 2,500 on my card (showing off not intended because...) i try to keep mine at the '0' mark to stop the charges. there's fuk knows how much i want to buy (headphones, car, IBIZA, computer stuff (TFT monitor!!!!!), 4 new pairs of jeans), but rite now I'm bashing my finances to try and get my current account in the black, and my cred card at £0. no matter how i aquire my dosh i always seem to spend it, and have about £150 less than i want :\ as soon as i have anything over £100 on my card, i start getting the £20 per month charges, which means using the limit just lands me with more charges

CTW Members RaverBaby69 Posted August 14, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted August 14, 2003 dont struggle with lots of seperate debt payments. consoldate them all in2 one simple monthly loan repayment with a consolodation loan. that way not only do you save on the interest, pay the debts off quicker, but your also paying out less each month and have one simple easy monthly repayment. just call argos/homebase loans offering a rate of 6.9% typical on loans of £15000 and over... ...OH [censored] sorry 4got for a moment there i wasnt in work!
