has ne1 else heard of this label. it seems to produce tracks that r very versatile seeming as i've played some of thier tunes in harder sets yet carl cox has played thier stuff in his housey sets as well

i think thier only a small label (only press 500 records a time ) deffo 1 of me favoured labels.

 

kinda technoy, funky and harddancy. a bit like the kinda stuff u'd expect from dave the drummer or guy mcaffer, only better imo

the 2nd track (Noctilucence - Darwins Bitch) on my last cd was a 'bang on' tune. and the 3rd track (The Alien Thing vs Damage Control - America) on my newest cd (copies not sent out yet) is a 'bang on' as well

Bang On is one of my fave labels! Excellent funky house. Pretty sure its Theomodee's label. Got number 5, 7, 8 and 9. Number 7 is that Jason Nevin's track remix, wicked stuff!

Theomodee, now thats a name i reconise. know idea y i do mind.

 

i dont suppose u have 'Ant - Magnetic Field' by ne chance? i spent months trying to track down that record (its how i came to descover bang on in the 1st place) only to be told by my m8 @ the record shop that bang on is run by 1 of his m8s and it went out of business last year so only 500 copies of magnetic field r floating about.

 

 

the nice thing about 'bang on' tunes r they r versatile. i play me in hardhouse sets, but i've heard em in funky house and techno sets. just goes to show that quality tunes cant be pigion holed

I've got a tune called "Scratch My Derriere" on the Bang On label and its amazing!! - techno with loadsa scratching on it, very good tune for building up to a harder techno set!
