When ppl ask me what music I like I say Hard house but to me they all sound the same on the dancefloor anyway. As long as there is a stompin beat and I can dance to it then I'm happy.

i must admit i used to be very narrow minded with music - ie hard house & hard trance but recently ive started listening to a lot broader range of music like hardcore, hardstyle, freeform, gabba etc and going to a lot more 'underground' clubs - i love it - in fact hard trance and some hard house sounds very slow & almost 'cheesy' in comparison!

I totally agree with that!!

 

Ive started to [censored] LOVE my trance and hardstyle (sum call it german hard trance)!!!

 

All i can say is.....

this could get into a spin off topic....but it's too easy to compare tidy to techno, because tidy seems to be all about "how hard can you go".

 

then it breaks after 50 seconds.

 

techno thumps the [censored] out of the floor for 10 minutes. when i say 'isn't a patch' I'm being lazy in saying "techno i've heard is 'harder' than any tidy i've heard" -- and i've been to a lot of tidy nights (+ 2 weekenders)

 

this is why i was "omfg yes" at Atomic Energy@EQ warehouse, i NEVER usually hear that stuff (Kevin Energy/Sharkey)

I prefer Hard Trance, but Psy Trance is getting more popular, I have been to a Psy Trance night in Leeds called Gecko a couple of times, the venue is quite small but it was rammed both nights.

 

I love the fact that through the night it gets harder and darker and by the end everyone is really giving it some! I think a lot of people don't realise it can be hard, the fact it is so melodic as well, makes it a great genre to go clubbing to.
