is people that play unusual tunes 'elitist'

It's not necessarily elitist to play "unusual" tunes but u do get certain people who give it a load of "that tunes crap cos everyones playing it" yet a month earlier it was the top of their chart return marked as a CDR promo or something..

 

Playing unusual tunes is something which every DJ does in some respect but because of the copycat nature of people, something which is unusual does becomes normality eventually

nar not really. i was just remembering how sum people have said they love rob tissera as he plays tune after tune and others say they love karim cuz he plays tunes no1 else owns

yea, but it's usually his own bootlegs of other tracks, which makes it unique.
