Will get you cards posted off as soon as I can - sorry I couldnt hang around until closing last night ! (4/5pm is about my limit these days lol) Nice one for putting up track listing ! Frantic did it again - was WELL impressed with the mix of HardHouse vs Hardcore and the whole club had a more bouncy and up-for-it crowd I thought although some of those rooms were extremely loud !!! (surely SE1 is the best venue in london - for me it is anyways!) For the first time ever I got to see Lisa Pin Up and was well impressed!! Thanks to Alison for suggesting we go see her !!! - good to see you again Ali Managed to see my old faivs Glazby & Reynolds and Phil was playing a funky set which was going down extremely well I must say ! For some reason I couldnt get it into my head that it was kether selling records at the Nucleuz stand all night ! :s Claire DC - blast from the past! GREAT to see you hun ! Lisa/Baz - you two didnt stop all night!! Titchy & Spike - always a pleasure seeing you guys out - you must be the most relaxed people I've ever met - must be something to do with the ginge! Pleased you enjoyed the US hun and good for you !!! Snowqueen & Snowking - always good to see you - in fact do you ever miss an event, I'm impressed ! Hope you get your gallery sorted out ok mate. Carl - wicked to bump into you again mate - on form as ever Guy - again great to see you again matey Si & Steve - YOU NUTTERS!!!!!!!!!!!! I wasnt going to start listing names as I miss people out so apologies if I have done! For the first time in a while I actually got talking to a few NEW people and managed to hand some of the new cards out (about 50 or so) so fingers crossed we'll have a few more people getting on here to join the cruise ! Just doing my photos now o yeah, and thanks to Baz & Lisa for introducing me to laughing gas - not sure if it was the gas or the action we were going through which was highly amusing lol In fact quite a few new 'stalls' out there - WE gotta get one at some point ! One of them last night had these AMAZING cool patches - really really friendy/bubbly people on the stalls as well - makes the whole experience that much better - as I say the whole club was REALLY bouncy and up for it - loved every minute of it - will deffo attend another hh/hc hybrid evening such as this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps. only bad point is those bloody smoke machines!!!!!! I dont think many knows its there / allowed through there - I know I didnt when I first went, and its certainly not to be missed ! CTW DJs Phil B Posted August 15, 2004 CTW DJs Share Posted August 15, 2004 I wasn't sure on how the changes on styles would work, they both seemed to be going along roughly the same until the guys before me....they added some extra bosh to it. I was playing many of my tunes up on the plus 6 - 8 range which was way faster than usual and thought people would feel the difference. I was proved wrong the crowd was wicked It's always great to play and it's good to see faces you know in the crowd. Dropping tunes and hearing the crowd react was cool, shame the needle jumped mid-mix, got a nice cheer though I know what you mean about having a limit, my knees are killing me and I didn't dance that much either!
