whenever i go out here I always travel to brighton so will just be the same traveling into town..

The first two live in North Hendon which is really dull because it's completely occupied by the police training zone. Hendon is where all new Metropolitan police train and the site occupies 2 square miles of North Hendon.

 

OK I have already said that in the way of nightlife Hendon's not much to be desired because it's a residential area. Altho 'The Hendon' bar is really lively and is often voted top 10 bars in London and it most certainly ain't filled with middle ages, you only find young wideboys and Hertfordshire/Essex style girls there dancing to Garage and Hip Hop (Dj Luck & MC Neat hold a recidency there) I usually stay well clear. The Midlands in West Hendon is a class pub with nice people and a good amount of youngsters and the phattest juke box ever. Hendon is great for shopping, you'll have all you need for shopping in Brent Cross, the biggest shopping center in London which is in Hendon.

 

All in all you gotta remember it's in London and is only 30 mins on the underground from the bright lights of cental london. So it really doesn't matter if the night life ain't up to scratch here. Cos for me I can go to West Hendon overground station and be at Turnmills in 15 minutes or I can go to Charing Cross in 35 minutes and be at gatecrasher @ heaven. Plus Golders Green, Hamstead, Finchly are all down the road you'll find shit loads to do. London's a rough place and as you can see Hendon is praised for it's safety which is a big plus point let me tell you. I have never ever come across bother in Hendon.

In what sense? You want to see shit holes in North West London you should check out Wembly, Harrow, Harlesdon, Cricklewood, Kilburn, Neasdon, Colindale, Edgware. These places are shitholes and Hendon especially the part she'll be in will look like the Lake District in comparison.
