Clare,

I'm currently using Fruity Loops 3.56 with the following vst's:

N.I. Absynth

N.I. Battery

N.I. B4

Timeworks fx

Scorpion

And about 50-60 others, too long a list to remember!

If I can be of any help, please PM or EMAIL me.

Do you know how to apply a filter to the main automation track ? - that's the key to the beginning !

Agreed that FL is no good as a sequencer. It rules for making beats/basslines/etc though.

Buzzmachines, hmm is that the virtual routing thingumy? I think I've heard of it, isn't it quite tricky to get used to?

Crap.

FL3.56 is a very sturdy sequencer - you just have to change your approach to how you write your tracks.

And no, you do apply a filter to the main automation track - when you choose the filter, you are already telling FL which noise your applying the filter to. But, it should be kept in the Main Automation track to keep it tidy and unconfused ! Therefore, you could have 20 different filters which all rise and fall in the Main Automation track but, will all be viewed individually.

Clare, if you want 3.56, PM an address for me to send it to on Cd.
