Thursday 2nd October @ Heaven

It's billed as Bedrock's 5th Birthday Party with

John Digweed, Josh Wink, Jay Tripwire, Rennie Pilgrem, Sancho Panza and More.

 

So does not clash with TW4, but IS on a Thursday!!!..I blame those fuckers at schooldisco.com (who are resident?????!!!!!!) at Heaven on Fridays!!. Worth a day off work I think

Not a case of worrying Ray, just a case of I would prefer to do Badrock, but have paid up in full for Tidy & it is alot of money to lose, if I didnt go

Well, what can I say ? What a fantastic night.

Ended up going on me own as no-one else could be arsed, but that was cool, it was interesting being anonymous for a change. And I'm always wandering off on me own in clubs anyway.

Managed to drag some workmates down the pub after work to kill 3 hours and managed to get pissed far too quickly. Not used to booze anymore :S

Got to Charing Cross about 9:30, and was surprised to see there was no queue, which was unexpected. So nipped into the Griffin for a quick drink, as I knew there was going to be some people from the Bedrock board hanging out in there. Ended up speaking to some bloke Matt (I thjink) at the bar and his mates, all seemed quite friendly.

Another drink with them, then off to the club. Was already quite busy, Jay Tripwire was funking it up nicely, not heard of him before, but he was pretty good. Dancefloor was already rocking, and the atmosphere was just great, everyone smiling and really having a good time. Plenty of lovverly laydeez too

After Jay Tripwire, Josh Wink came on and started banging out some quality techno. Was good, but not really my thing, so wandered into the breaks room. Not sure who was on, but it was pretty good.

Wandered back to the main room after a few random conversations to catch the end of Winks set. As soon as Digweed took over, the place erupted, this man is a genius, every song he played was flawless. The crowd were loving it, this bloke is just consistently top-notch. Never been disappointed by him. I also managed to bump into a stunning brunette that I'd met at DC10 in Ibiza in 2002, I had no idea she was even from London. Very bizarre.

Was a really good night, music was top, atmosphere was even better, and the crowd were really friendly.

Next month it's Sasha & Digweed, Fabio and Grooverider in the back room. See you there
