Guest
Money isnt really an issue, if you get a distribution deal with someone like Amato or unique. They pay for the tracks to be pressed up (in some cases) so there is [censored] all risk. Thats the way it worked for Purgatory. And at the end of the day, they sell the product for you, so aslong as the track is good, it will sell.

Guest
Like I said it boils down to the kind of distribution deal you get, you just need to get CDs of your tracks (Do them up well with your label logo etc) to the A&R men at the distribution companys. If they pay for the presses then they take a cut of the sales, but you still end up with a good profit with not much initial capital input. We dont run purgatory anymore, but I am in the process of setiing up a new label by myself. The guy I ran the label with is in th process of setting up his own distribution company so we can cut out the middle man.
