Lush they may be, but as an owner of Pioneer CDJ 1000 mk2, they can stay exactly where they are. Too little too late. Pioneer have cornered the market now and have their CDJs in most of the major club installs. Most of the top DJ's that use CD decks use CDJ's. You can store all of your cue, hot cue, loop, and wave information for all the CD's you use on to one little SD card and take it with you to any club with a CDJ, slot it in and be instantly set up and ready to go. Unless the Technics can read the pioneer cards, i think they've already lost the battle.

No one said about any battle, unless ur assuming Technics brought them out to be the "standard" in clubs like their 1210's smile.gif

They may be aimed @ Bedroom DJs... who knows unless we get an answer biggrin.gif

of course thier out to try and take the clubs from pioneer. besides, if teh technology is in the clubs then people will be installing it in thier home setup as well as they want to simulate the clubs as closely as possible to gain as much experience as possible 4 when they play out. hence technics being the main choice 4 bedroom DJs despite rival decks being more econical 4 the same specs

And the Denon one with the revolving platter.

.... the Technics has a revolving platter too. (look closely at the platter in the photo ....)

I've used the Denon. It's smart. It's got bags of tricks and can play MP3's too, but i still prefer the useability and the build quality of the pioneer. The Technics one is pretty swish looking i'll admit, but remember - all that glitters ain't gold.

No, they're CD/ MP3 players

If they crash, (which is highly unlikely), you'd probably have to switch it off then on again shrug.gif
