Also the other bit that made me laugh is when one of them said the way to tell a good DJ is by how well he can scratch... That's absolute bollox in every form of music other than [censored]-hop...

Although i am not personally keen on Hip Hop, i do have alot of respect for these guys, their scratching technique is absolutely amazing, take DMC Championships etc. this sort of scratching is only suited to this style of music, but you gotta respect them

 

I've heard so many DJ's say, "your not a true DJ until you can scratch" utter bollocks, anyone can scratch but......

 

Right about now someone will be thinking - "Practice Makes Perfect", however i'd say "Perfect Practice Makes Perfect", cos if you [censored] it up the first time you'll just keep going wrong

i'm not a big fan of hip-hop, but u have to understand that proper hip-hop isnt the shite that ur probably thinking of.

 

its like trance, proper trance rarely makes it on the radio. its usually the cheesy [censored]. well teh same is 4 hip-hop.

 

1 of me m8s DJs in hip-hop u c and when he came round 4 me houseparty he did a bit of hip-hop on me decks and i was impressed. totally not what i was expecting to hear
