2b fair - the mods have more than a good enuf reason to be stressed/pissed off @ the mo. i know if this was my baord i would have gone balistic.

 

as usual i'm offering my assistance if theres ne thin i can do to help (altho preferbly after i get home). i'm sure u have it all in hand tho.

 

 

just an idea tho - maybe it would be worth taking the 'remember me' option off for admins just as an extra safty measure?

 

 

james: 3 days of data loss isnt a big deal considering we still have the baord intact! what i'm trying to say is, as much of a nusance as it is, i'm just greatful u make backups

well i would have had it setup by now to do automated nightly backups but i've been somewhat side-tracked with other issues like people trying to cause grief both on and off the board.

Anything anyone has posted, sent / recoeved PMs in the last 3 days has been lost due to not backing / saving anything in the last 3 days.

 

3 days isn;t really much, im just glad it was not much more than 3 days.

Someone using an admin password gained access to the site and started deleting the threads/forums/etc... James restored the site to the last available backup.
