After buying the latest issue of Mixmag, I haven't stopped playing the Acid House cd mixed by Jon Carter...Would love to see him live now, anyone know if he's got any dates coming up in the North West area?? Or if he regularly plays a set venue???

 

Did anyone else get the cd? What did u think?

no I agree, it isn't really proper Acid House, just touches the edges...But it's really got to me...has been in my car for about 5 days now...which is pretty good for me as usually change the cd every day...

I dunno how much longer this issue is out for..think it's been out a good couple of weeks...next issue's free cd is a mix through the genres of dance by Moby...

 

dunno if that will do it for me , but will give it a go!

 

Will be popping down to HMV this weekend to see if there is anything else I can pick up by JC.

Some parts of the CD are good..the others are piss-poor, haven't listened to acid house fer' a while... and I've only listened to this CD once... it wern't what i were hoping for nay mind

i'm not suprised there is a mixed reaction to it, can imagine some people wouldn't like the mix of 'hot in here' on there...

 

have been onto HTFR today though and ordered 'LFO - Freak' and 'FC Kahuna - Nothing is wrong'...brought The Audio Bullys tune a couple of weeks ago.
