Just watched this film. If you see it on DVD or listed on TV somewhere, it really is well worth watching! yes.gif

Its set in WW2, and is about a man called Guido who marries an italian woman, and has a child with her, they all get sent of to a concentration camp, and Guido has to find (some very imaginative) ways of protecting his son from all the terrible things that went on back then in these places. Comical in some places, but also horrific in others. Very well made.

where've you been aaron...

The lead actor one best actor oscar for it (I think- and I think it was the first time a foreign film has won one of the main prizes... but then I might be better)

Roberto Begigni...

It is a superb film, but sad old ending.

10/10

I've around Russ, just need educating badly on films outside of the mainstream blushing.gif

Thankfully my mate Andy (Goldie) is doing a fine job in rectifying this grin.gif
