Something for you..

 

In order to gauge the possible impact that another virus may be having on our network, we would like to ask that every single agent speaking to a customer using windows asks that customer to search their hard disk for either of the following files :-

 

Germs0.dbv

Swen1.dat

 

Windows 98 - Start > Find > Files or Folders

Windows XP/2000 - Start > Search > Files and Folders

 

Please search the drive which windows is installed in, most likely 'c:\'

 

If the customers machine contains either of these files please advise them that they may be infected with a virus and that they should visit an anti virus site eg. http://www.symantec.com/search/ type 'swen' into the search box, click search and click on the first link dispayed for advise.
