have u got the latest mixmag (the 1 with pvd on the cover)? (stupid question really)

 

have u listened to the cd? if so is the last track psytrance? it sounds like the desciption u've been giving of psytrance.

 

btw - i would like to go on friday, but as i'm deffo out this sat to c layo & bushwacka i dont wanna go for the sake of it. so i'll let u know thurs or fri on what i'm deffo doing. if i dont make it this time round i'll go with ya next time (all things being well)

it's not a million miles out.

 

psy (as far as i've heard) tends to be a bit more 'clear' - you can hear the differences between the instruments and the silences....if that makes any sense.

 

there's a song alasdair recommended - cosmosis - cannabanoid, which seems as bang on psy trance style as i can see. send it 2 u on msn if u want.

sorry for butting in - i found this while searching for something else...

 

that cosmosis track is a great track and typical of the 'classic' psytrance sound. other representative tracks i can think of off the top of my head would be:

 

blue muppet by infected mushroom

utopia by astral projection

this is the end by growling mad scientist

neighbour of the beast by logic bomb

i don't mind ali as it's a nickname my friends use. just don't spell it "ally"

 

i listened to acperience and it's pretty psytrancey. it's a little softer than the stuff i listen to normally but it definitely reminds me of some other psytrance stuff.

 

if you liked acperience, you would probably enjoy the artists 'atmos' and 'human blue' - especially the latter's album 'ice'
