I love the Paul Janes mix of 'The Dawn' and 'Are You All Ready', but seeing as I didn't listen to his music when he was alive I can't really say he was an inspiration to me or 'a legend'.

 

I do believe people are viewed in a better light once they have died though, e.g. Princess Diana, Tupac and Biggie Smalls, and that people try and cash in after the death of an artist.

 

I think more of Tupac's tunes have been released after his death than when he was alive!
