Run down of my thoughts of DJs....

 

Mr Whitby played the best technical & most fun set. His version of "I don't Care" - OMG! At one point he did get almost everyone in the main room on the dancefloor - only for a tune or two, but at that time of the night, when there's only a few people in (and they've literally just walked through the door) says something. Bit shitty that he pulled the ticket for 9:30, but someone had to go first. Wish he'd been playing later - the crowd would've gone mental.

 

Nice Guy Danny did a great job - really enjoyed himself up their. Had a great set, but have seen him play better. I did like the way though that he played "Danny" and not to the set time he was given - 10:30 (not quite as bad as Andy, but almost). It's a compo and you're there to show what you can do.

 

Mark H played a blinding set - the crowd loved it. However, he did play a load of Sundis classics, and so couldn't really have gone wrong. I really enjoyed his set, but would have liked to hear more of "Mark" - he's a top DJ and some of his sets I've heard have been amazing. Again though, it's a compo and I understand exactly why he played the tunes he did. Good on him for reading the crowd, and knowing what Sundis boys and girls want.

 

Those were the three sets that really stood out to me....

Thank u Bukey, really nice to hear ur feedback, i really wanted a later set as i had some daft turntable tricks to pull out but they can wait, thankx for being there dude, had a top night with ya and see u soon!
