An outrage !!!

Ive just been on the www.tuneinn.com website, as I do every week to pick up some new vinyls. I was browsing through the new techno releases to come across Fergies new track "Teknoise" on a Duty Free Promo. Nice one I thought, good to see it getting out there. Then I looked across at to my dismay I saw it was priced at £12 !!! WTF !!!

I already have this track on CDR, but that is not my point, there will be alot of DJs wanting this track im sure, as the release date is not for at least another month or so.

I am very close to contacting all involved ie. Fergie himself, Duty Free, and Tuneinn to see who is responsible for this outragous over pricing.

I can understand people paying big money for a deleted release or a very rare release, or a track that isnt going to even get released. But seeing as this is going to get a full, probably super promoted, release I find it hard to swallow.

What a [censored] joke.

Your thoughts ??

I live in N.Ireland Phil, we have one good record shop in the whole country.

I have no choice.

Besides that doesnt take away from the fact that this website is ripping off its customers. Ive had a look around and no other site has it, so it must be a sort of exclusive to them thing, and they seem to be abusing that. Im sure there will be other record shops around the UK who will have these promos also. And im sure they will be priced the same.

i know most online stores cost alot more than they would if you buy them in a shop.....its the same old thing....people will pay for it so they charge stupid amounts. shrug.gif

really?!? i've found the opposite to be the case. online stores sell records like supermarks sell food. (pile em high and sell em fast). plus label sites can offer further discounts as your cutting out the middle man

i'll admit the difference isnt massive (usually swallowed up by shipping costs)

that's just ridiculous mad.gif There aint many places here in North Wales..Well there are none really that I have found, so I go to Chester which is only about 45 mins away...how far would you have to travel if you were to do so??

I had a flick through the HTFR website and thought it was expensive once postage is paid...and it aint the same, I love going into a shop and being able to hear all the mixes before I buy the vinyl (and you can make sure it's a deecent quality vinyl..my mate has had a couple of naff ones from HTFR).
