it is not as easy as saying im giving, it is a lot harder & as Sarah say's above when peeps around you are doing stuff & having fun, you wanna partake too, because you enjoy it. Especially if the person in question is not ready to give up so mto speak!!

 

Why isn't it that easy ? It all depends how much you want to give up. Why would you carry on when you know it's [censored] you up ? It just makes no sense.

And why can't you 'have fun' without drugs ? Goes back to the drugs vs music point again.

Agreed, but one or the other seems to be more important in some cases.

 

I do notice the people who have the strongest opinions about this are Ray & Kev.

Both of you don't really frequent Hard House clubs which is what most peeps are debating on here, that doesn't mean your opinion is any less valid but its not your scene and I think drugs play an important part in it.

I could go to funky clubs all week long and not even want to do drugs, but put me in a hard house club I would.

 

That isn't really the point here, the point is overdoing drugs. And since when does Kev not got to Hard House clubs ? And I've been to more HH events than anything else recently.

And that's kind of my problem with Hard House, why is necessary to take drugs to enjoy Hard House when by your own admission for other scene's it's not ?

I dont think it is necessary to take drugs to enjoy hard house or whatever genre, you should in theory get the same out of it whichever way you do it. However, i would say that 95% of people that take drugs would say that they prefer to do it under the influence of something.

More often than not i choose to do it without nowadays but I know which i prefer to do!

I did more drugs when listening to HH, when I listen to good Trance I only ever took a couple of little dudes.

Ok, will someone explain this apparent need to take drugs when clubbing? Is it necessary to [censored] your body up to enjoy the night properly or something?

 

I'm not bein funny but there are reasons why these things have never been made legal, mainly cos of the effect they can have and what they can do to your body. I'm not saying drinking to excess is any better but at least when I buy a drink I know exactly what is in it and what it's gonna do to me.

Nothing personal, but do you really think the legality of any drugs has anything to do with the amount of harm it could cause you? Do you know anything about the drug laws and how they were developed...and particularly under what influences?

 

Most of the drug laws in this country were formed arbitrarily by a group of people with little or no experience of the effects (positive or negative).

 

Do not mistake law for justice or truth...

 

 

At the end of the day, anybody who takes narcotics - legal or illicit - has to take responsibility for themselves. If people understand the consequences of abusing a substance and still do it, they have to question if they're getting enough out of it to warrant any damage they might incur. That for me is the only issue when consuming narcotics...not some arbitrary law made up by a bunch of penpushing, daily mail reading, wankers in Whitehall.

There is no reason to take drugs in clubs or binge drink for that matter, if its a really top night and you enjoy the music and the socal aspect than that what its really all about.
