I am just hoping i can actually see, hear and speak at the time! With regards to the other point, logistically speaking there is no way Tidy could organise another DJ with Karims status seeing as just about every other big name is already playing down there already, and those that arent would have been booked elsewhere by now- a weeks notice is a truly tiny amount of time in this business especially when you are dealing with names of that calibre and pulling power. Most of the talent booked for Tidy would have been done so months ago. The fact that people are excited about going to see the same dj after only 2 weeks is more likely to be indicative of the fact that they enjoy that style of music than the dj for his individual merits. From the sets i have heard of his, Karim in technical terms is no better a dj than the likes of Rob Tissera, Lee Haslem, Phil Reynolds etc etc, but he does play a less mainstream type of hard house. Sorry to re-iterate a well debbated point, but if people were more willing to pay to see the less famous and up and coming Djs playing this type of sound (Ben Stevens, Gilly, Deano through to people like Casper, Andy Moore and ALex Kidd) then you would find that there wouldnt be such an outcry if Karim/Glazby had to cancel their sets. Go & wash your filthy mouth out!! How can you even think to compare Kairm with Tissera & Reynolds lad!!!! His stlye & technical abilities are way different, have you ever stood next to Karim & watched him mix? How cool & relaxed he is & how half the time he dont even que his tunes... AMAZING!!!!!
