Hats off to Wayne El Captino and Lisa Lashes for last week’s Sessions – both were awesome sets.

 

Tidy Weekender hangovers well and truly out of the way and a measly £5 or £6 entrance to the club for a live appearance by K90 should see a damn good Wednesday night this week at Sessions!

 

Genesis, Deliverance, Chemical Love, This Is The Future, Bombjack, Genetic, Red Snapper,, Breathe, – the list keeps going. Mark Doggett (aka ‘K90’) holds a discography to be proud of. Think of these own productions and then add superb remixes to these (his mixes of ‘Injected With A Poison’, ‘Imagination’, ‘All Your Bass’, ‘I Get A Rush’ – again, the list goes on).

 

This week spells a special debut for another of Goodgreef’s stars – Adam Sheridan. Rocking everywhere from Sundissential to Garlands, Godskitchen to Slinky, Adam’s signing to the Shaun Meikle agency (alongside fellow DJ’s such as Rob Tissera and AJ Gibson) exemplifies his obvious versatile nature and appeal.

 

Following Adam and John (K90) will be myself, in usual fashion, to conclude the evening for 230am.

 

In House Sessions, our NEW resident Filthy Rich is joined by Speed Queen’s little darling Lucy Locket. Lucy’s combination of an epic personality together with her output and presence behind the decks bring a challenge to any watching clubber of an unavoidable smile. Rich has been on the Leeds scene for quite some time now and we are delighted to welcome him as resident – he has rocked the big ones (the likes of Funkissential, Goodgreef) and is now ready for forthcoming house allocations at places like Frantic. Rich – welcome aboard mate!

 

‘Function’ @ Mook (our official pre-bar) continues to get the ball rolling and the drinks flowing like there’s no tomorrow. Expect residents Tom Paton and Omissimo propping up the bar and on DJing duty this week.

 

Once again, the kind words continued to flow last week and the loyalty was with Sessions. As long as this continues, I shall continue to express my gratitude. It means a lot guys – thanks!

 

The last time K90 came to the club was when I was still with Base and was one of my most enjoyable nights there. Anyone up for this?
