no, but i think its childish to have it in the 1st place.

 

u dont have to read what people write. no-one holds a gun to your head and makes you read every post by every user.

 

and even the most annouying users post good posts from time to time (even you kev ) so why risk missing the odd good post just because your too imatue to ignore the crap posts yourself

Its simply there as an option. Some people feel they may want to use it.

personally i've never been a fan of too much choice is a good thing.

 

sometimes you have to spoon feed people as not every1 knows whats good for them

 

but at the end of the day its not my baord and not my desission to make so i'll stand by james decision

happy - the default is that its switched off - if people want to change it and look hard for the option they will find it and are allowed to use it - no one is forcing them to. it also only took about 10 minutes to set up so wasnt an issue.

 

it kinda falls flat on its face though if someone quotes someone you are ignoring haha ..
