Dunno if any of u mob are into nice n nasty Gabber, but this un is a top example- seriously dark with quite a mellow beat for the most part.

nah mate, industrial techno is just noise, whereas if u listen to dark gabber n stuff its really quite wierd how it can be almost ambient in places. Its got loads more variation.

I spose it depends on what u call dark, my definition is evil and more ambient synth noises, like horror movie soundtracks really.

 

Admittedly i have only been to one industrial techno night.

same as mine. i've never been to an industrial techno night, but i do occationally buy the records, so maybe i've just found the cream of the crop

go tunes that despite the fast bpm, they have really dark (oftern slow moving) synths like you described.
