SEVERE WEATHER WARNING

Britain is braced for a taste of autumn with storms and torrential rain set to sweep across the country.

Two days of 50mph winds and driving rain are predicted to hit the country.

Southern England will bear the brunt of a deep depression sweeping up from off the Spanish coast - but the north of England and Scotland will also feel the chill.

The bad weather is expected to hit the southwest by midday and sweep across to southeast and East Anglia by teatime.

Rainfall of between 50mm and 70mm (2ins - 2.8ins) is expected in some areas, with travellers expected to face localised flooding and fallen debris.

The Met Office has warned it will be a "shocker" and a PA WeatherCentre spokesman said: "It's going to be wet, windy, cold and absolutely horrid over the next two days.

He added: "This weather is certainly unseasonal for July, with the combination of strong winds, heavy rain and depressed temperatures making it feel more like November."

Guest Kether

Read in the times this morning, looks like we're in for a fun couple of days ahead.

It's fucking lush here in London at the moment though.
