I'm Back!

Hello boys and girls I'm back! After a short absence Tomo would like to inform you all he's safe and well. I recall having a rather large discussion on this board a few months back regarding how much I despise Liverpool's music scene, and the fact there is no Hard House. I remember one person saying "well do something about it then and stop moaning" I still moan, but I have done something about it! I've got a Saturday night @ the Studio Lounge, and Phil Benson as you all know is one of our residents.

 

The event is called Yum Yum, very close to the old Garlands: and the difference? We aint money grabbers like them (dont argue I know what I'm on about on that one)! £5 entrance fee 10Pm til late, and from Feb a 6AM license will be in full effect!

 

Cheaper drinks than the other dark evil place as well! Almost half the price and you get a better night, becuase Yum Yum is for the people like you! Our aim is how you feel, and will be doing as much as poss to making the night the best!

 

1st November sees the unofficial launch night, through out November Yum Yum is free as the venue is new.

 

6Th December is the big day! Every Saturday from there, expect big names to be headlining as well as our own!

 

NEW YEARS EVE MADNESS!!!!! We also have the new year date which is Tickets £10 more on the door!! This is due to it being New Year and still cheaper than other places. Reason I have to raise to this price is to pay everyone!

 

So show your support, this is the new age of clubbing! superclubs dont get the numbers anymore, the capacity for this is 450, so stop making the prima donnas richer! Taste the flavour of Yum Yum: It is what u make it!

But it has Garlands doesn't it? Its been rated as the best club for 2-3 years in the UK by counltess magazines / websites ?

Not at the moment they haven't. Its opening in Eberle Street again next month. The replacement Garlands was [censored].

 

You can never have too many good clubs anyway.

I would just like to stress now that a lot of people are going to throw the dart and accuse Yum Yum of being a rival night or a cheap imatation of Garlands, THIS IS NOT THE CASE!

 

We are totally independant and have this night for the people! We care a lot about the clubbers, we are not greedy! Yes Yum Yum is cheaper entrance & drinks.

From what I've heard of various people in club land they do not have the strong hold on the gay crowds anymore.

 

The styles of Hard House we support IS NOT the commercial sound you'll get at Garlands, we respect their policy, club and the people within BUT we are Liverpool people, with Liverpool DJs doing something for they city, adding more variety, NEW ideas & concepts!

 

We want to hear what YOU want, we will listen and do as much as we can to make the nights for you the clubbers.

Yes it has Mark the manager of the venue we are hosting has spoken to the Garlands crew. We want to be different than Garlands, self explanatory really
