Its not...its easy. I gave up last week and I've not had any craving, shakes or anything. Its been 7 days since I had a cigarette.

it's not as hard as it's made out to be, but just don't beat yourself up if you slip up, just carry on where you left off and accept that you will always be a smoker, even when you have not had one for ages, cos the temptation will always be there

No.. I just stopped one day. No substitues, no chewing gum. I just stopped after 16 years. There is NO temptation either. It just got to the stage where they started to taste disgusting.

different people are....different - some ppl have addictive personalities some don't.....i've wondered if I'd be able to give up...but don't really want to start to find out blink.gif

Giving up is easy if you want to.

 

Too many people relapse and think "fuck, I knew I couldn't do it" when they should just think of it as a slip up as Nic said.

clearly it totally depends on how addicted you are!

 

I found it easy to give up as I wasn't hooked even thought I've smoked since i was 14

 

but I know for a fact that a lot of my friends would find it extreemly hard to go a day

 

u can't make assumtions on how easy something is just coz you can do it
