For paying guestlist / general enquiries : 07855 502193 (Taz) For general enquiries : 07951 587433 (Gary) - HARD SESSIONS : DJGRH, SHAN, EL CAPTINO, GILLY HOUSE SESSIONS : TIN TIN, CARLO GAMBINO, FILTHY RICH ‘FUNCTION’ PRE BAR : OMISSIMO, TOM PATON - Harder than hard very much the order of last week as Vicious Circle’s Ben Stevens and Paul Glazby shook the Space nightclub to pieces last week. This week, we collaborate with two of Leeds’ finest nights – Kemistry and Incision. Both clubs have stamped their authority on Leeds and both have had good attendances in what seems to be a ‘we are Leeds’ kind of thinking in the city at the moment. This night is being termed the ‘Clubs War Of The White Rose’ for obvious reasons. I gave up my ‘last set’ duty last week to Ben Stevens, but this week I’ll be back at that helm. Our guests are all ‘Leeds faces’ – and are nice guys too! Little midget gem Shan has been THE success story of the last year. Godskitchen, Goodgreef, Frantic – you name it, he’s played it. I personally have been moved by his confidence since I met him a few years back – I have nothing but admiration and love for the little blighter. Shan – your success couldn’t have happened to a nicer geezer! Love you long time mate! Also appearing and on representation of ‘Incision’ is adorable, friendly rogue Gilly. Fresh from his performance at ‘Lashed’ in Ibiza and with forthcoming super gigs (including Sundissential on New Years Day), Gilly’s style and character make him what he is. I wouldn’t want to be a duck when he’s around though. Now, depending on how many of our cheap spirits you neck at Sessions this week, you’d be forgiven for thinking that there could be a live PA from someone like Shed Seven or Supergrass at Sessions this week. Well, disregarding his ‘indie’ appearance, it is actually super-hard, Mr Clued Up, Wayne El Captino representing Kemistry! Wayne’s style and versatility is one of the best in the city – hence the bookings at many Yorkshire nights! The impressive local lineups continue too in ‘House Sessions’. Filthy Rich – our new resident – is proving to be a success story, helping us to beat off the other competition in the city. He is joined this week by Tin Tin. A Leeds legend. Of course, you associate Tin Tin with Speed Queen – that’s where his routes are, but Tin Tin’s biography boasts much more than that. We’re honoured mate! Thanks again buddy! Carlo Gambino completes the lineup. Another Speed Queen associated and promoter of the ‘Hunkydory’ night in Leeds. Welcome to another Sessions debutant we have high hopes for! Our ‘Function’ pre bar continues to set the night alight with ridiculously cheap drinks and residents Omissimo and Tom Paton at the controls. I’ve seen many a post on message boards of Leeds clubbers showing their pride at living in the city. This one’s for you. Gary DJGRH
