£5?!

I've seen some of these "dodgy" DVDs before, they've all been [censored]! (The frame rate is wank and/or the sound is out of sync with the picture).

(Oh yeah and it "jeopordises future film production"...) wink.gif

I like to buy the proper thing, hate paying someone who downloaded the film and burnt it on a DVD for a couple of pence.

I like to get the full deal, only the best for my widescreen tv and surround sound system!! thumbs.gif

I don't do much on this planet, but David Blaine has taught me that I could do less!!

and price wise....

a cinema is a 50ft ( confused.gif) screen with massive surround sound, for £6. i thinks thats good value for money:) and some films you NEED to see with the right screen and sound (big action films)

big screen but the picture quality is utter shite, most of the time the film is shown from seciond hand reels from america where they finished showing it or reduced the amoumnt of showings, hence lots of noise and scracthes in the picture

the picture judders

you can get just as good surround sound at home

no annoying little shits who talk the whole way through movies to have mobiles turned on, etc.

i would just rather wait and watch it at home.

althoguh having said all that, i will still be going to see the last lord of the rings at the cinema smile.gif

depends what type it is, if it's a [censored] telesync from someone with a video camera in a cinema, or a screener where they've nicked an advance copy sent to cinema and film people, or they have access tot he actual film reel and make a copy direct off of that.
