ive nothing against hardcore im just not into hard house nights havin a hardcore room.

i kind of agree, unless there are 4 rooms or sumat like that... other then the bpm difference, there aint a lot to set it aside from hard dance at all

now a room going from hard dance to hardcore on the otherhand gets a big thumbs.gif from me - not enough progression in clubs at all!

not too kean on hardcore at all at a HH night unless it sounds like hard house on the wrong speed laugh.gif I hate freeform/cheezcore mad.gif

bah - freeform is the way forward - 303s rule thumbs.gif

Coming soon...

But hardcore is no more innovative than Hard House! How can people say that Hardcore is stronger than Hard House? I have listened to a lot of the new hardcore, and it is nothing new - it's all been done before - I really fail to see the attraction, apart from the fact people love the speed of it.

I'M HUNGRY!

hard house appeared as the next 'big thing', everyone liked it, everyone started playing it and everyone started opening nights.....i can just see the same happening with hardcore....it was once underground and now its going to be churned through the mill with every man and his dog making and playing it.

people raved about hardhouse when it was brought to the masses attention, i've seen it coming with hardcore for quite a while

tell me honestly that the nu energy stuff isnt pushing the hardtrance boundaries much further then hardtrance producers have ever done....

the reason hardcore is suddenly being accepted is because the 'scooter image' has finally worn off, not because people think its something exciting and new, but because they are giving it a chance!

and anyway (going back to first post), when i played a load of freeform/hardcore at smile, it seemed to go down pretty well - smile certainly isnt a hardcore night, yet the people still there @ the end seemed to enjoy it!

What that man said!!!

although the nuenergy stuff is (from what ive heard of it) true hard trance, not the trancy hard house pump that is being churned out atm, which is what is was referring to in the original post.
