People who train regularly don’t just train their skeletal muscles which they are exercising with but also the heart muscles. As with other muscles training increases muscle size which means that cardiac muscle thickness is greater than an untrained heart muscle. Actually if u know stuff aout the heart theres a few things here I've often wondered..........

1. They say tht being overweight is bad for your heart - well I'm not overweight tho I do eat shitloads of junk food, I also go to the gym and use to do a lot of running - does this mean I can still eat crap and get away with it?

2. In view of the top does doing pills still fook up ur heart in the long run even if ur have a low heart rate n do a lot of physical exercise?

 

I'm always gettin told at the gym I've got high fitness level n at doctors that I got low (healthily low) BP - does this mean I dont have to worry about the pills n crap I eat!? confused.gif

well i dont actually know nething about the heart i just copy out of textbooks and blag my exams. Im at uni for a gud time not to learn nething.

 

However i do have a cardiovascular physiology book next to me right now. Unfortunately i dont have time rite now to look it up 4 ya so ill have a stab at looking up meself

 

1. Eating crap is not gud neway - leaves a nasty aftertaste.

if however u were talking about junkfood i think u can get away with it if u exercise it off. A weekly allnite stomp is gud exercise. However about fat cells. Once created your body cannot remove them. When some1 who is fat loses weight they just reduce the size of the fat cells which can easily be refilled. Not being sexist but women generally have more fat cells than men sorry.gif.

 

2. not too certain bout doing pills and heart. All i know bout pills is that it depletes serotonin levels in the brain (serotonin is a neurotransmitter) Taking the come down pill 5-HTP helps because it actually is the precursor for serotonin. Serotonin is also called 5-HT. U cant take serotonin however because it cant cross the blood brain barrier. 5-HTP however can so it enters brain cells where it is metabolised into 5-HT = Serotonin.

 

Right back to my write up

 

Had some pasta and got a beer so ill be going for another coupla hours now. drunk.gif
