Local heros Shan, Gilly and El Captino came down last week to Sessions last week and proved what varied offerings the city of Leeds has to offer in terms of hard dance DJ’s.

 

This week, we welcome Anne Savage to the Sessions turntables – AND, as a late addition and special treat for his birthday Andy Whitby will be joining me back to back for the last set!

 

Anne has globetrotted everywhere from Ibiza to Japan; presented on Rapture TV; toured with Goldie, Grace Jones and the Weather Girls; I’m sure we all remember ‘Faking It’; she’s to present on Ministry of Sound Radio with her good friend Roger Sanchez; appears regularly for anyone from Sundissential to Slinky; produces numerous material (anything from being a ‘Tidy Girl’ to teaming up with Defected’s Craig Burger Queen). Busy girl!

 

Andy Whitby is regarded as one of those who is making waves. Sundissential’s newest resident, his success is nothing more deserved. He’s the kind of DJ who’s success you look at and can’t help but smile and think that its justice. Its his birthday, he’s a good friend of the Sessions crowd and so we’ve included him (for his birthday) as part of the lineup.

 

Guesting this week in House Sessions is Tom Paton who plays at places such as Goodgreef Wakefield. Tom also continues in ‘Function’ (his residency) alongside Omissimo. Filthy Rich – our new resident – is proving to be a success story, helping us to beat off the other competition in the city.

 

All aboard for the queen of hard dance! (…. That’s Anne Savage by the way, NOT Andy Whitby! lol!....)
