Before when I got a pm it would pop up infront of me

 

Now I get a loud click and a yellow flash thing appears round my mouse arrow

 

Is it me or have changes taken place

Happens to me too.

 

Prefer that than a box really.

 

But then I did take the pop up box off, in my controls.

i don't get that, i just get the flashing letter thing at the top of the page, which it usually takes me ages to notice

Still get that Nic

i feal voilated by this new mouse pointer

You haven't got the google toolbar on by any chance?

Unless you have asked in your options to remove the pop up thingy alert.

I have a pop up blocker but when it blocks a pop up it makes a noise which is a cross between a Moo and a car horn

Google blocks most pop-ups. Apart from Porno ones. Which is good.

u can probably disable the sound

ive not changed the forums - you should see a popup and a flashing envelope only - must be google or msn bar thingy majiggy wiggy wiggy
