how good is Mark EG ?!?!?

Mark EG = LEGEND

 

Aint heard him recently, but i used to be at the front for any set he played back in my Hardcore days, Helter skelter, Dreamscape etc.

 

I remember watxching him one night in northgate arena in chester and he was punching himself in the face while mixing!

Immense!

 

This thread has just brought back so many good memories for me, i have to see mark eg soon!!!

 

Also loved M-zone back in the late 90's he was fuckin amazing too!

My cousin used to love all these dj's at North and Helter Skelter, but the tapes she played me of people like Mark EG, M-Zone and LoftGroover were like real 200 bpm gabba sort of stuf, not Hard Trance?

I think they all play a variety of genres as Oriel has fuckloads of north etc tape sets and theres everythin from techno to hard trance to gabba and hardcore in there!!

Makk EG plays a wide range of genres, so I wouldnt doubt for a second that he plays gabba too

Loftgroover, HMS + Music maker all played Speedcore

I used to go to Steam in Rhyl which was (at the time) the hardest club in the uk. And they played hard fuckin mental Gabba!

 

Never do i remember Mark eg or M-zone playing there!

Although i wish they did!

 

Best ste i heard there was Easygroove and Robbie dee on my 18th Birthday weekend. Pure unadultereated class

when a lot of u say .. hes a nutter coz he does this an he does that .... have u ever herd him play live ??? iv seen this guy playing for years , yes he is very good playing from hard trance - to now pureist/acid techno , an yes he is a complete loon (plus iv seen him tahe the odd gary) but u cant judge him on how good he is by being a loon , true it does get the crowd goin a lot , but ppl see him as being mint coz he does this stuff , if he didnt do it all u wouldnt say he was a god etc ......plus hes one hell of a sound guy !!

i hate the word gabba , its hardcore techno thats what the ppl call in in the scene for me gabba is the stuff that comes out of holland which aint nothing like hardcore techno

 

gabba djs r like , neophite , scott brown ,

speedcore djs r like lofty , hms,musicmaker (sadly thay have packed it in now ) smurf .........
