i've moved!

you have probably noticed, if you venture into the serious forums, that i'm forever telling people here that they're in charge of their own destiny...

 

well, i finally took my own advice. i have moved from san francisco to south lake tahoe (on the california/nevada border) where i'll be working at heavenly ski resort for the winter.

 

snowboarding is one of my passions so i decided to move to the snow so that i can board all winter. i got my (free ) all-winter lift ticket today and the snow is already falling.

 

i got a cool house sorted out and a cool ride - a four-wheel drive audi quattro:

 

 

to get me around. it's an '86 but it's sweet.

 

i have no internet access at home so i will not be frequenting CTW much over the next couple of months. so this is something of a goodbye until i get net access at home.

so i managed to get an internet connection sorted out pretty fast. the cable guy just left and now i have a 1.5Mb cable connection
