making a demo cd...

thanks for your replies, will try out a couple of those programs....

 

is the PC i'm using still up to date enough to do all this? (athlon 850/196mb ram/20gb HD) the thing I wasn't sure about was the soundcard..soundblaster 128bit

I use Sound Forge or Cool Edit. In the end, I will use the program to chop up the live mix into separate wav files and use EZ CD Creator or Nero to burn it to CD. Use the "disc at once" function to burn the CD nonstop without 2 second gaps between the tracks.

 

As for the setup, my mixer has 2 outputs. I send one directly to the sound card and the other to the amp.
