Just had a lecture and

at the end the lecturer showed us a human knee joint. A real one. It was about 8 yrs old as well and was all brown and shrivelled up. He then showed us how some parts of the cartilage had been worn away indicating arthritis. It was so gross

it also had some skin still around the bits of leg not cut up and it was all shrivelled up and mank looking. And there was some of my coursemates wanting to go and have a tour of the dissection room downstairs

it didnt actually smell. I was very surprised. It was sitting to the side of the lecture theatre all lecture and then he got us all to come round and see it.

I had to cut up human bodies with no heads, arms or legs at medical school son, so count yourself [censored] lucky!! We are talking old people who have donated their bodies to medical science......

thats minging and now i get to enjoy ywo hrs of law and the eu, oh how fun my life is today
