What car would you most like to own?

my dad has a harley. He's thinking of selling it tho as it has bout 300 miles and is 3 yrs old.

 

no real time u can ride it in UK. Rain ruins chromework and when its hot the leathers make it unbearable to ride.

I'd sooner be too hot wearing my leathers that nice and cool with no skin on my body!

a harleys for cruising not speeding. Its great fun. Sat on the back once when my dad was going into town.

 

Its wikid when he sets off peoples alarms by revving the engine as he goes past parked cars.

The one & only time i went on the back of someones bike (my housemates Fireblade) i didnt have any protective clothing on (apart from my helmet) and i felt really vulnerable! Its a buzz cos you are living on the edge but if i had fallen off its my family that pick up the pieces!

The biggest buzz Ive had on a bike is when I was on the back of my old man's Honda Superdream and we were hammering it down the motorway one day! not one of the fastest bike's built but [censored] me it was awesome!

 

My Grandad has had some tasty bike's aswell, he's well into Moto Guzzi's, had quite a few of them.

 

I havent riden a bike since I crashed my Yamaha DT125! Was only doin about 50 but it fuckin hurt!

 

Deffinatley need to back on one soon tho! Have been thinking of gettin a Cagiva Mito

the only motorcycle ive riden on my own was a mini one. Knees above the handlebars and everything. Still managed to [censored] up and get massive grazes from trying to be too clever and do a corner at full throttle.

 

When i rode on my dads harley i had normal clothes on and a helmet, thats all. We went slowly so it was ok.

 

Ne 1 else think this has gone a little

 

so back to cars. My dad used to have an alfa 156 and we did 140 couple times on the continent. Talk about G-forces, was sinking into my seat so much.

 

He keeps thinking about buying another one

Thats a load of crap, I had a cbr 400 and its top speed was 130mph.....a cbr 600s top speed is quoted at 153mph. I think you'll find that quoted in many of the bike magazines and online websites.

 

 

One that was 10 years old, I dont think so plus you could not get that speed after a corner & hitting the brakes .

With all of the talk about Motorbike crashes it brought back memories to a night out in Stoke-on Trent,.......

I was walking down the road and a Tigra pulled out of a carpark onto the main road but failed to see a motorbike coming towards it with no lights on.

Rather unlucky for the guy on the motorbike as he hit the car side-on and went straight through the rear screen, what a mess he was!
