Binary Finary, the greatest tune of them all?? U decide!

Since wanting to become a DJ, I like to get an honest opinion of various tunes that I think are sweet (see the last JFK post).

 

Just wanted to ask what people thought of Binary Finary's epic 1998/1999 (any mix)?

 

Try and give it a mark out of 10 (and please be honest, even if you're not a fan of the tune).

my reckoning is that its different to other remixes as it uses long notes instead of short notes like other mixes

Matt Darey's 1998 mix was the best!

Matt Darey mix Wicked contrast between the dark bits and "the" uplifting bits.

 

Gouryella mix was a bit more "epic" but too obvious sounding for me.

my mate has done a remix of this that is gettin played by a few people at the moment. tis fuckin nice.

 

however there is another remix that i'm trying to find the name of, but it just samples the track slightly, i.e. the main riff, then breaks into a big percussion part. fuckin amazing!!

i thought that was the point behind 'reading the crowd'

especially considering everyone on here has different music tastes ranging from funky house, techno, trance, hardhouse, hardcore and dnb so its not gonna be an acurate representation of the clubs you would play in
