Overall was a very good night but was ruined in some places by some right twats.

 

Got to vision at about 10.30 after a 10 start. Apart from there being practically noone there the atmosphere was good with Marc Minall on the decks in the main room. After a drink at the bar and meeting a bloke who recognised me from an afterparty a few weeks ago (I dont remember nething from it tho as i fell asleep while whiteying). The first tune which brought people onto the dancefloor was serious sound by guyver. Only 5/6 people tho. I had a wander about and went into room 2 which was the 6 of the best room and had noone dancing as it was a bit early on. Had a look in the drum and bass room as well but people where just sitting down in there all night whenever i went in.

 

Went back into main room and heard absolution by Wid and Ben by now there were 10 or so people on the dancefloor and the edges were beginning to fill up.

 

When Cally & Juice graced the decks however the dancefloor was filled as they started with Can U dig it? by JamX & DeLeon who feature at bionic on 5th December. Doing their usual mixing style with scratching and backspin they got the dancefloor well and truly going.

 

Next up was Dan Pearce and Amos Nelson a.k.a. the scream boys playing hard trance with the occasional scratch. Needing a break after cally & Juice I took another wander and went into the 6 of the best room as i could hear the music from there by the bar in the main room. Went in to find hardcore Dj Delicious. This dj turns out to be a woman (nice change). stayed in there for a bit and went to get another vodka and lemonade and came back to have a bit of a stomp to a good bit of hardcore.

 

Returning to the main room every now and then waiting for the final set of the night to be played by Nick Sentience and Phil Reynolds B2B. When they finally came on they didn't do a true B2B set as they didn't do one record each but instead played 2 or 3 each.

 

With great music all night there had to be a downside as there are with most events. This was the lack of people there and of those people there, there were some right twats. Most of these were beer boys wearing shirts and smart shoes. And then to tp it off was two people who got on stage towards the end of the last set. There were no professional dancers for this night as it is the twisted hardhouse version of bionic which pulls in less people. This led to girls from the dancefloor being asked to go onstage. Towards the end however some hoody who obviously new the guy in charge of who goes on stage got on stage pretending to be getting the crowd going when in fact it was the music which got me going. And then he invited his fat mate from the dancefloor onto the stage as well. Considering that he was wearing a jumper he looked like a right twat and got in the way of the djs. With the hoody trying to egg me on i just gave him the finger whilst dancing.

 

The night finished at 4.30 instead of 5 for some reason, not sure why and i only found out because the cabby told me the time on the way back. I only got a cab cos it was raining. (fcking wales).

sounds like you had a pretty good night matey - shame about the twats - you get them in most places thou.

 

Me tara and lydia laughed at this 'MC' at HHA i think it was. He was just standing likt right in the middle of the stage so you couldn;t see the DJ if you was in the crowd and every now and again he'd go 'Come On' else he'd just prance about like a fukin fairy getting right in the way all the time. Apparently he was just meant to introduce the DJ - and refused to leave the stage

 

I'll doffo hook up with you in cardiff one weekend matey - maybe we can dance on stage in our nurse outfits

They had a host called shocker who does egg on the crowd properly but some djs ask him no to he doesnt and just introduces them etc.
