Another belter last week at Sessions saw Ben Stevens and Caroline Banx head back to back for a bish-bash-boshing end to a great night!

 

This week, we pick the crème de la crème of Leeds’ and Manchesters’ most respected residents and opt for Shan, Alex Kidd and El Captino joining me on the Sessions’ ones and twos!

 

Shan continues to excel. Resident for Goodgreef for quite some time now, his latest achievement (of many) is gaining a place in the Mixmag Future Hero’s column. Alex is responsible for A&R for the Goodgreef brand and continues to work tirelessly up and down the country with his own blend of hard European trance and associated styles. El Captino (aka Wayne Blenkin) is co-responsible for the infamous ‘Kemistry’ Sunday afternoon session in Leeds and holds a good biography within Yorkshire (….as well as once singing something about diamonds, and about submarines, and ‘getting by’ with a little help from his friends…)

 

‘House Sessions’ continues to be THE only place for great house music on a Wednesday night in Leeds – we owe a big round of applause to Filthy Rich for this, who continues this week. He is joined this week by our pre-bar co-promoter and all round Mr Nice Guy – Omissimo.

 

The offer of cheap drinks continues to thorough p*ss me off week in, week out (….I play last set and drive y’see!....), with 2 for 1 cocktails in ‘Function’ (@ Mook) and then 2 for 1 beers at the main club. Hope you all enjoy them!
