friends getting married

i'm only 21 and im finding it quite scarey when i hear about friend my own age getting married.

partly because i'm scared of getting left on the self (ah bless )

but mostly because i dont consider myself to be anywhere near mature enuf to be thinking about settling down yet people my age are

i started noticing 'age' when i had mates failing driving tests. 10 years ago like

its not noticing my own age. its more noticing how much other people have grown up around me

been married etc........................now im back on the shelf.

like i said, i'm not impatiant or bothered that no1s proposed. i'm more worried that some of my mates are getting married.

 

21 seems too young to be married imo

my parents were married at 17

Well I was married at 18, had a son when I was 19, separated at 21, divorced at 22 and ended up enjoying life at 23.

 

Now my ex-wife has 4 kids....My son, 2 from the guy she left me for and another one from the guy she left HIM for who she's now married to.

I don't know any1 getting married yet but my sister who is 21 has 3 friends her age who are now engaged, and its likely that she may get engaged soon as her and her b/f go really well together

my best mate got married a few years ago, she was 26 and married the man of her dreams

 

i was so pleased for her, but i couldnt help feeling a bit of saddness inside (we had been best mates since 14) to know that our single days would never be back again.

 

It made me realise that life can go so quickly!
