I had a cuz that was killed. He was 13 and the man killed him over a dog. Laid the gun in his eye and pulled the trigger..him mom and brother was there. He got 1 year and now is able to walk free. Cos he was in the military, got a plate or something in his head. If he's that crazy they should put him away. I wrote to my senate and ppl I thought could help and still not got any replies...I don't think any courts are really fair...

exactly. my post was saying how some1 who does something like that shud have the death sentence. I was also giving an example of how some1 has avoided being prosecuted for it.

 

Twins are a very unique case. U couldnt do that and get away with it for example

So what about if the person was brain washed, far stretched? Not entirely. How can you blame someone when they are not in control of their own body. Not so clean cut now is it? lol

They still did it tho.. and for this they need to be treated/punished accordingly.. which is what i said!!

but you're punishing someone for something they didn't want to do, and were being made to do against their will. Now some will say you don't have to do anything against your will. However what happens if that person was threating to say kill a family member if you didn't do what they said? How can you try someone for something they didn't want to do? You are effectively condeming them to make the choice of life and death between their family member.

BUT THEY STILL DID IT!! Regardless of any other factor in it they still took someone elses life!! Think about that persons family.. if it was because you was told to do it then that person hadnt even done anythin to you so why did they deserve to be killed?

 

Ok, if theyre threatening a family member they are under pressure but they could always go to the police and at least try and do somethin about it without resorting to murdering someone for someone else!! Also, if they are in the predicament where someone is threatening a family member unless they kill someone for them, it seems to me to be like they have gotten yourself into that situation somehow.. that the people forcing them think theyre capable of killing someone!!

 

How could they prove it was against their wishes?? Anyone could say that to get away with it!! If there was solid proof that it was against their wishes and they didnt wana do it but they were tryinto save another life of their family then maybe a more leniant sentence would be a better option but the fact of the matter is, that they have still killed someone.. whether they wanted to or not!!

claire obviously you dont' get it. the fact is that they didn't want to do it. You're saying that they shouldn't do it even when a member is being threatened to be killed if they don't, but by doing so and using your logic shouldn't they be tried for allowing someone to die, i.e. the family member that the person said they would kill if they didn't do what they said??

 

but how could you go to the police if this person has you locked away and is keepin you there until the moment they want you to do what they want.

 

Your trying someone for something with all the will in the world they didn't want to do. I think that is extremely unfair and you're convicting the wrong person. You should be trying the person that made this person do such a act. That person that has been forced into that situation to do such a crime will have to live with the guilt that they had no choice but to do what they were being told otherwise they would condem their family member to death!!

 

You see claire we're back to my original point, you can never prove something 100%
