my office at work do a syndicate for the regular lotter (pound a week etc etc), we had £30 winnings saved from the last few weeks. now the bloke who orgainises it decided off his own back that he would go and buy £30 worth of lucky dips for tonights roll over, with the winnings we had saved.

he didn't ask anyone first, but thinks that he has done nothing wrong.

 

i know it's no big deal really, but are we wrong for moaning at him??

I would instantly go out and spend the winnings on Lucky Dips too. It's only fair IMO - but then it depends on what ammount of money was won. He should inform you first either way !

 

When I used to work in NTL - our Team winnings would either go on more lucky dips, or they woudl go in the team fund for our next team night out on the piss.

well yes, they have alway gone on paying for the next few weeks worth.

 

but he has a think about spending extra on rollovers.

i can't see the point, the only reason i really do it is beacuse i wouldn't wanna be the only fucker left at work if they won.
