Wat was latest mixed cd u bought

I don't normally buy mix cds as I end up having most of the tunes anyway and for the price of a cd I could get 2 tunes, money better spent

 

But the last CD I got was Phil Reynolds - Frantic Residents, I'm a big fan of the guy anyway so I really liked the mix, not a very obvious choice in tunes

Dont buy mix cds tbh- im in the lucky position of being mates with a fair few up and coming djs who are very good at what they do, so i just them given so i can pass on my opinions n stuff.

 

I dont really agree with the more commercial ones anyway- on the basis they are all mixed by computer.

Ur opinion:

 

it's pretty downtempo compared to most of the GU series but it is, in a word, brilliant. it is sublime downtempo grooves mixed with talent.

 

and disk one features what is, for me, one of the best downtempo dance tracks ever recorded - boards of canada's 'happy cycling'

I honestly can't remember the last time I baught a mix cd, must have been about 2 years ago!

yeah, my billy nasty cd's were the 1st in well over a year.

 

but seeming as i didnt have any electro cd's and my techno 1s were getting old i thought i'd treat myself.

I just get other djs to send me their mixes
