What do you do then? If its customer facing then they may have a point...but then again no one should be able to dictate how you choose to dress.... scratchchin.gif

I have to wear a shirt and tie just to answer the bloody phone which is a bit of a shitter.... disappointed.gif

True they may have a point... but they must be some damn tight arse customers if they actually went and complained!!

It's not like you have a tattoo covering half your face!

Aren't tattos above the neckline now illegal or something (as in tattoists aren't allowed to do them)?? Or is that complete and utter shite that I have just made up? shrug.gif

personally im nottoo keen on piercings, ears are ok and sometimes nose studs can look quite nice when they're discreet.

Professionally if ur trying to get a job, piercings can give the wrong impression to an employer

I was going to post a gag about flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality but it's just flogging a dead horse.

As far as I know, it's not illegal. It's up to the tattoist whether or not they tattoo you above the neckline. With a normal tat you can cover it up say if you got drunk one night and had something stupid tattooed on. But above the neckline they don't want be held responsible for the social (and employment related) consequences that may occur... etc

Which makes sense to me...

Good news all round then....I can go ahead and get that cobweb tattoo all over my face that I have been planning for years!! Sorry......I'll just go shall I? disappointed.gif

Don't pander to their bourjois wishes. You are an individual. You have a right to express yourself. I would imagine that most people would only notice your piercing if you stick your tongue out at them. Presumably Debenhams are aware that they would be disciminating against you by making you remove it ? Are you in a union ?
