Bars in clubs

Why do bars at all night events not get extended alcohol licences so that they can serve alcohol all night and not stop at 2am

 

I know some clubs do get special licences but it never seems to be the ones that i go to.

 

As some1 who only drinks alcohol when out i norm find that by the end of the night i have sobered up leading me to want to leave early which i norm dont do but last friday i had to leave an hour early as i was stone sober and the music was beginning to annoy me for some reason (too much hardstyle for me i think).

 

For people who do go straight like me i think that it is in the benefit of the government to allow more of these licences as it will stop me thinking "lets try a pill just this once" cos i cant get off on something else. I won't intentionally try a pill for a long time yet tho.

i usually get too pissed and spend the rest of the night trying to sober up. only to go to the 'shillybeers' afterparty and drink 3 bottles of wine

norm it is for me as well but occasionally i cant have a big bender b4 hand to give me a headstart when i get to the club. And also vodka drinks in clubs are always too strong for me to drink quickly (even single shots) so i end up spending ages drinking one drink.

dont drink vodka then or change the mixer that goes with the vodka. imo vodka doesnt mix with coke very well, but does with cranberry or orange juice as it has a tang to it.

 

but my new found clubbing drink (appart from the very expencive double tia maria and coke) is double JD and coke

 

i dont do singles
