Overdose on vodka and red bull? Never. I remember being in the student union when red bull first appeared and they were trying to promote it. (Cardiff union was the biggest red bull consumer in the uk for a while....yeah). ALways find a couple of doubles downed as the bar is closing and one to sip on for the following hour is more than enough to keep you going until at least four if not later!

I know some clubs do get special licences but it never seems to be the ones that i go to.

 

As some1 who only drinks alcohol when out i norm find that by the end of the night i have sobered up leading me to want to leave early which i norm dont do but last friday i had to leave an hour early as i was stone sober and the music was beginning to annoy me for some reason (too much hardstyle for me i think).

 

For people who do go straight like me i think that it is in the benefit of the government to allow more of these licences as it will stop me thinking "lets try a pill just this once" cos i cant get off on something else. I won't intentionally try a pill for a long time yet tho.

 

as a licencee myself i hear this sort of thing all the time.

 

the main reason is you need to make the bar work and make a profit untill that time in the morning, late ;licence's cost a fair whack

 

another reason is that the magistates and police ask you to be part of a comunity policeing scheme........and lets face it, would you want the police snooping round your club whenever they want at the risk of imidiate closure and full licence (not just late) revoked at any sign of trouble or drugs.

How are you 'going straight' if you're drinking ? Alcohol is as much of a drug as anything else.

i used to down a half litre of vodka with red bull every sat night at school and was sick almost every week as went onto the beers afterwards as well
